How to use the AirVantage BreatheBooster™?

Step 1: Preparing Your Trainer

Before starting, make sure your trainer is clean. Place the mouthpiece in your mouth, ensuring the word “top” etched on the mouthpiece is facing upwards. Secure it by biting gently on the inner sides of the mouthpiece.

Step 2: Breathing Technique

Either stand or sit in a comfortable, upright position with good posture, or incorporate this into your exercise regimen. Set the resistance to a level that provides a challenge but remains comfortable. Breathe in deeply through the mouthpiece until full, then exhale until nearly empty. Aim to completely fill your lungs, engaging your inspiratory muscles.

Step 3: Exhaling with Control

After removing the device, breathe normally until your breathing is regular. Perform the breathing exercise 10 times to complete a set. Do 2 to 4 sets daily, ideally before meals.

Warning: The exercise should be demanding yet comfortable. If you experience dizziness, headaches, or shortness of breath, reduce the resistance level. Safety first.

How to use the AirVantage Physio™(Exhaler):

1. Inhale deeply (using abdominal breathing), filling your lungs fully.
2. Hold your breath for 2 to 3 seconds.
3. Place the AirVantage Physio Exhaler in your mouth and exhale through it steadily but quickly for 3-5 seconds. Avoid excessive force to prevent lung muscle strain and chest tightness.
4. Most people can get the device to oscillate without much effort. Adjust the device so the cap faces upward and tilt it for maximum chest vibrations. Keep your cheeks firm for better effect.
5. If you feel mucus accumulating in your lungs or throat, cough to clear it. Otherwise, it will naturally move to the throat and be swallowed.
6. Repeat these steps around twice per minute for up to 5 minutes, taking two deep breaths between each session to prevent light headedness.
